What's Been Happening On Instagram

Isn't it funny (or maybe not so funny) that for many of us, once we have our little people, we are so keen to 'get our body back' and 'get fit' - I know I did after I had my first little one. I was so desperate to lose weight, I got into the habit of just not eating or not eating much, which in turn made my health issues worse, and coping with the challenges of motherhood so much harder. . . But why is that? 🤷‍♀️ . . You know that movement & nutrition go hand in hand? 🏃🏼‍♀️🍎 . . You CAN do one with out the other, BUT you won’t get the results you are seeking. . . And, unfortunately, I see many mums also don’t get the consistency they want either due to their own health & wellbeing issues or their children’s health. . . I have also worked out through my own personal journey that you can't exercise a depleted body. And if you keep trying, you will just end up completely exhausted and unable to function well in all areas of your life. I know first hand as I've been there, and it's been a long journey back! . . I am not a nutritionist or naturopaths, but I AM A MUM who works with other mums on a daily basis, particularly mums at this stage of their lives, where their children are young and life is constantly changing. . . I UNDERSTAND that every mother’s priority is their children, and ensuring that they are nourished well, cared for and loved. . . I UNDERSTAND the majority of mum’s also want to be a role model for their children. . . I welcome so many mum’s to my sessions, but, though fitness is my first focus with my clients, I also know that you can’t exercise when your body is not nourished well. . . My MISSION is to encourage, educate and empower mums to live a healthy, happy and fulfilled life, from the inside out so that they thrive as the woman they are AND the mother they have become! 💕 . . If you would like to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life AND thrive, then get in touch! I'd love to chat with you & support you on YOUR mum journey 💖
🤣🤣 Fortunately for my husband he doesn’t dare! #Repost @phoenix4mums with @get_repost ・・・ Interesting ha? #motherhood #mama #dayslikethis #PND #postnataldepression #anxiety #womenshealth #motherhood #mumtime #metime #mumlife #activemums #postnataltraining #postpartumtraining #womensupportingwomen #mumpeneur #phoenixformums #postnataldepressionawareness #postnataltraining #pelvicfloorstrengthening #pelvicfloor #diastasisrecti #exerciseformums
After an amazing weekend, I was so excited to get back to the park today with these wonderful mums & their little ones! . . We're officially in our last week of trials for Block 1, and so looking forward to welcoming more mums to our sessions as they see if we're a good fit to support them with their fitness, health & wellbeing . . If you'd also like the opportunity to trial one of our sessions, click on the link in our bio and 'Register for Group Fitness Sessions For Mums' and we'll be in touch ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I also wish for a different world, where what we looked like doesn't matter 💕 . . This is something that has been at the forefront of my mind for so long, especially given that I work with new mums on a daily basis, of all different sizes and shapes, but all so strong and sexy in their own unique ways . . The team of amazing female fitness professionals that I have partnered with through my affiliation with @bodybeyondbaby are all strong, fit and sexy women in their own right but we do not all look like fitness models - and that is what I love! We are real women, with real lives, and we are proud of that! . . And this is what we want for all women, all mums - to understand that it's not about being perfect and they can be fit and healthy no matter what their body type and size 💕
