Welcome to MumaBubs. My name is Jody and I’m a mum of two adorable, albeit at times challenging, little munchkins, a wife, a business owner, a daughter, a sister and a friend, with some roles I do a lot better than others!
MumaBubs started as a dream many years ago fuelled by my passion for fitness, health and wellness for women.
I am passionate about educating, energising and empowering pregnant and post-natal women through the provision of safe but effective exercise programs and fitness sessions.
To build a supportive community of mums, who are energised, strong and healthy, inside and out, and have found a balance between being a mum and being the fittest, healthiest woman they can be!
I hold a degree in Exercise and Sport Science completed at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.
I am a qualified Level 1 Female Health and Performance Coach, through the Female Health and Performance Coach Academy
And, I am also a Level 3 Registered Exercise Professional with Fitness Australia.
I am a pre and post-natal exercise specialist, with qualifications in Fundamental Mat Pilates and a specialisation in Pregnancy and Post-Natal Pilates.
After my first child was born in 2012, I realised that I wanted to help other women also on this beautiful journey of becoming and being a mum.
And, in particular, I wanted to help them be energised, strong, fit and healthy, inside and out, at every stage. So, three years and another baby later, and with a little push from those closest to me, I finally took a leap of faith and turned my dream into reality.
I believe that the post-natal period does not end once your baby is no longer a new-born. Issues with the pelvic floor, pelvic instability, weakness with your core and even finding the time to exercise with the extra demands of being a mum, do not go away after your 6-week post-natal check.
However, returning to exercise safely is crucial for your long-term health and well-being.
I am also passionate about women keeping strong both physically and emotionally during pre-conception and during their pregnancies, as this is vital for the health of your baby, and not only for you while you carry your precious cargo, but your health following the birth of your new addition
MumaBubs has evolved out of my passions for fitness, health, wellbeing, and wanting to assist and support other women on the most beautiful, rewarding, challenging journeys of becoming and being a Mum.
